Eliza Aguilar - Character Artist

I am currently enrolled at the Art Institute of California - Sacramento in the Media Arts and Animation Program, specializing in Character Design. From a young age, one of my favorite parts of starting a new game was character creation. To this day, I could spend hours on the character customization screen, getting them to look and feel perfect. I love the time that goes into the creation of a character, and I apply that enthusiasm to my work.

Self Portrait - 15 minutes

Charcoal on sketch paper
I think the hardest thing about portraits is drawing people you know or doing a "selfie". It's difficult to capture their personalities and how they feel, which to me matters more than their bone structure.
